![]() IF, I had to live in a country who was giving me everything that america gives them, I would at least take the time to open a book, or go to a school to learn their language. Now before I go soundig like Ernie the biggot, let me say this. So whos to blame here? The stupid corporation for hiring a bunch of non english speaking mexicans, or the mexicans for not speaking english in a mid western state? I almost felt like I had to draw a f*cking picture to speak with these pieces of shit. I actually had to get the package off the shelf (to a complete bearing buddy set), and point to the cover in order to get through to them. ![]() I dont blame them for hiring mexicans, and I dont blame the mexicans for talking in spanish to each other, but what really pisses me off bad is that they cant talk to me, an american english speaking person, going into an american auto store, looking for a simple part. Sh!t, but I shouldnt feel out of place because my American English conflicts with their spanglish jibberish crap. I try to go about my day not hating these people because they are just trying to make it in this country, since their own is a landfill pile of donkey Then to make matters worse, none of them could communicate with me. They were all gabbing in spanish, and it made me feel out of place when I asked for help. There were about 7 mexican employees, a few working, a few standing around talking. I couldnt find a guy in the store that could speak clear english. I went ito autozone the other day, no joke, I was looking for a bearing buddy cover because mine ripped. Now, if I was asking what the disti retard setting for a 63 mustang was, I would expect a dumb look, but not when asking for a drag link. F350's are more common here than Mormons, and I wasnt asking for a complicated part. SO to make a long story short, I had to personally look for the parts in order to get them, and they were simple steering parts for a very common vehicle. I said no, a tie rod on a straight axle truck connects both steering knuckles, and the guy looked at me like I was eating a shit-sandwich. ![]() When he looked up the part the guy laughed at me and told me "Its called an upper-inner-tie rod". I told them this is a drag link, showed them, and then asked for the adjusting sleeve, and the rod end. SO I asked if I could look through their Ford Steering parts, I did and found it myself. When I was going through my SAS, I went there to get my drag link. Its a 3G alternator, they could have put almost any vehicle in and it would have worked. I dont expect the to know every part for every vehicle, but please at least know something. ![]()
